Huayna Llama Picchu

Landscape digital painting for a digital painting course. I created a pitch and held a class vote of whether I should focus this project on Machu Picchu and "Emperor's New Groove," The Great Wall of China and "Mulan," or The Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and "Prince of Egypt." As you can, see Emperor's New groove was the close winner (I do plan to deliver on the other two concepts eventually as well)! I wanted to construct this at landscape dimensions, as we were instructed to work at 11"x14" in. I decided to work from reference photography of Huayna Picchu as my real world inspiration. I really hope to visit both Machu and Huayna Picchu someday with some llamas!
